Emergency First Responder – Level 3

Also known as Advanced First Aid, Level 3 is the highest first aid qualification obtainable. Learners are normally required to have a level 2 prior to doing this course, however, a level 1-3 combined course can be arranged if needed.

Learners need to be at least 16years or older to complete this course due to the nature of the course content.

Course Duration:

40 Hours excluding the Exam.

Normally taught over five full days.

Minimum of 6 learners, maximum 12 learners per class.

One and two rescuer CPR (adult, child and infant)

Joint and soft tissue injuries

Rescue carries

Chest injuries

Hand injuries

Eye injuries

Multiple casualty management (Triage)

Pelvic and abdominal injuries

Environmental injuries

Poisons, bites and stings

Medical conditions

Elementary and applied anatomy and physiology

Water emergencies (Including basic water rescue techniques)

Psychological emergencies

Emergency Childbirth
